Does jogging increase testosterone? The answer to this question is complicated. Jogging does not directly affect the production of testosterone in your body, but it does have a positive effect on overall hormone balance.

When you jog, your body produces endorphins which are hormones that enhance mood and reduce stress. In return, lower levels of cortisol, the stress hormone, are released. High levels of cortisol can lead to decreased testosterone production and an increase in muscle breakdown. Jogging helps keep your hormone balance in check, thus increasing overall health and well-being.

In addition to endorphins, jogging can also help increase other hormones such as growth hormone and insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1). Growth hormone is important for building muscle, and IGF-1 works hand in hand with it to further support muscle development. Together they help create a more anabolic environment which encourages muscle growth while helping you stay leaner. This ultimately results in increased testosterone levels indirectly through improving your body
